Instructor: Anna Marie Trotman
Anna Marie studied biology at the University of California in San Diego and went on to do cancer research at the UCSD School of Medicine. Her passion for living a healthy lifestyle lead her down a path to find balance in her own life and became a New Thought minister in 1998. She eventually went on to teach personal development classes through Emerson Theological Institute. Following her move to Delaware, she met Iyanla Vanzant and was invited to teach personal development and ministerial courses at Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development. After working with hundreds of students and individuals, Anna Marie found that, through nutritional awareness and the willingness of the client/student to genuinely look at all aspects of their lives, they not only became physically healthier, but they healed relationships, finances, tapped into their creativity and found purpose in their lives.
To add to her coaching skills, Anna Marie enrolled in the Institute for Integrated Nutrition and continues to focus her practice on an integrative approach to the client’s health and well-being. In partnership with the client, she highlights the importance of understanding all aspects of their daily lives, and the need for harmony and balance. Her philosophy is that the healing process is a journey that focuses on progress rather than perfection.
Currently, Anna Marie is working at The Birth Center, Holistic Women’s Health Care and is developing a program called “Your Passport to Health and Well-Being” which will be implemented with the different practitioners at TBC.
