Moving Mamas: Movement for Self-Care Class
October 12 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm$20
Calling all mamas: Are you looking for the opportunity to release stress and physical tension from your body? Would you like more time for yourself? Do you want to get more exercise and connect with other moms?
In this class, we will be exploring how expressive movement can be relaxing for the body, mind, and spirit as well as a form of self-care.
Improvisational movement will be emphasized as you are guided to follow your inner impulse to move as your body would like to.
The class will include:
- Body warm-up
- A few yoga poses
- Guided movement experience
- Final relaxation/meditation
This IS NOT a dance class and no prior dance experience is necessary, just a willingness to try new ways of moving and being playful.
- We hope you can join us in shaking off the stress!
- All moms are welcomes provided you have been approved by a mid-wife/doctor to return to exercise
- The workshop is for mamas only. Please leave your little ones at home so you can take some time for yourself!
