Want to learn more about babywearing?
Join us for a workshop on everything you need to know! Learn how to safely wear your child. You will learn correct positioning and why it is important. Specific topics discussed will be kangaroo care, why your baby wants to be worn, and you can determine which carrier may be right for you.
This class is for the pregnant or postpartum mama looking to gain knowledge prior to buying a baby carrier. Come touch, try on and explore each type of carrier.
Megan also offers private one-hour consultations for anyone that would like to learn how to use there own personal carrier. Learn different carries, (ex. Side carry, Back Carries). She can help you reach your baby wearing goals. Megan also meets with anyone that is unsure of which carrier they would like to buy and would like a private consultation to match them with the best-suited carrier for their lifestyle.

About the Instructor
The Birth Center sent Megan Jones, RN to receive baby wearing training at The Center For Baby Wearing Studies in Astoria New York in May 2017. AT CBWS she received her certification in the fundamentals of baby wearing. Megan’s goal is to help guide families to the baby carrier that would best suit their life styles and show them how to get the most out of the carrier, with safety as her first priority. She now possesses expert knowledge in the following types of carriers: Woven Wraps (long and short), Ring Sling, Mei Tai, Soft Structured Carriers (ex: Ergo and Lula Baby), Stretchy Wraps, and Hybrid wraps and Carriers.
